Give Through Our Fund at the Community Foundation of St. Clair County
Blue Water Safe Horizons has a fund at the Community Foundation of St. Clair County.
Donating to the Safe Horizons Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation is one way for a donor to ensure that his or her charitable intent is maintained in perpetuity. The Community Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that your gift remains intact through changing times and circumstance. Donors sometimes feel more comfortable making their gifts through the Community Foundation of St. Clair County because they manage other gifts through the Foundation and, therefore, place a great deal of trust in the Foundation’s ability to manage and invest funds.
Blue Water Safe Horizons is honored when anyone directs their charitable gifts to our agency, regardless of whether or not the gift comes directly to the organization or through a third party such as the Community Foundation. We are honored to be a part of the Community Foundation of St. Clair County.

United Way / Designated Funds
Blue Water Safe Horizons is proud to be an agency of the United Way of St. Clair County. Each year, the United Way distributes a portion of the annual fundraising drive to our organization, and we are thankful for every dollar received.
United Way donors are also able to select what agency receives their contribution. We are honored whenever a United Way donor designates Blue Water Safe Horizons as the recipient of their United Way contribution.

Why Donate?
When you donate to Blue Water Safe Horizons, you are providing someone with hope.
Hope for a future free of violence.
Hope for a future filled with self-esteem, independence and the ability to care for themselves. To stand up for themselves. To provide for themselves and their family in a safe environment.
Every dollar donated to Blue Water Safe Horizons is meaningful in that it helps men, women, children and elderly suffering from abuse from across our community move into safe, stable living environments; helps them through the trauma and confusion of the court system; provides direction to resources that will enable them to stand on their own; and provides the ability to recognize their full potential as a contributing member of the community.
When we help survivors remove themselves and their children from unsafe situations, we are helping those children understand that the community cares for them.
We are helping end the cycle of abuse and poverty.
Not every story is picture perfect, but every dollar contributed helps re-write the stories of people’s lives, often with a happy ending.
