Donations of Goods & Services

***Our donation times have changed! They are now Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 2pm. This is when we are at maximum staff and are able to accommodate the influx in people dropping off. Thank you so much for adhering to our drop off times. ***

 

Many generous individuals, businesses, service clubs and organizations in the Blue Water Area regularly contact Blue Water Safe Horizons to inquire about the donation of goods and services. Our needs change from time to time and we post a “Wish List” on our Facebook page regularly. If you are not on Facebook, here is a list of things that we are always looking for:

Hygiene products, under garments for women, men and children, sheets, blankets, curtains, new children’s toys, new cosmetics, cleaning products, anything that could be included as a special gift to clients for holidays (every holiday is made special for our clients!), and boys/men’s clothing, household items and baby items.

At this time, we can not accept any women’s clothes because we do not have the space to put them.

No time to shop? Gift Cards, such as Gas, Grocery or Visa cards, are always welcomed.

Items can be dropped off during standard business hours (9am to 3pm), Monday thru Friday. There are occasions where all employees are out assisting clients and no one will be at the shelter. We apologize if you happen to stop in when this occurs. There will be a sign on the door to inform you if this is the case.
